Serve in First Impressions

Our First Impressions Team embodies the spirit of welcome, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels embraced and at home, setting the stage for meaningful connections and heartfelt encounters within our vibrant community.

First Encounter Teams

Northside | Westside

The First Encounters Teams are the first faces our guests and church family see on Sundays.  Their responsibilities include greeting, passing out bulletins, serving communion, and ushering.  We have 3 teams—one for each service—and we ask our volunteers to serve 1 or 2 weekends a month.

Connection Center

Northside | Westside

The Connection Center is the information hub in our Welcome Foyer.  Volunteers answer questions, direct people to Children’s and Student Ministry, to restrooms, water fountain and coffee.  They help them find ways to connect in groups, fellowship and service.  We ask our Connection Center volunteers to serve 1 or 2 weekends a month.  A 2-hour training session is required to share information and procedures.

Welcome Call Team

Northside | Westside

The Welcome Call Team makes friendly calls to our new guests after their 2nd Sunday with us.  Callers  provide information and answer questions to help our new guests get connected.  Most callers will make an average of 2 calls a month, on their own time schedule.

Bakery Team

Northside | Westside

Our fantastic Bakery team delivers a home-baked goodie to first time guests in nearby neighborhoods.  Bakers usually make 1 to 2 deliveries a month, within their own zip code to thank our guests for visiting with us at ACC.
