Academy Christian believes in supporting ministries that demonstrate this effort, financially by designating 15% of our general budget for missions’ support, as well as providing volunteers and needed items to the ministries we support.
Locally Supported Ministries
Since 2016, Beautiful Redemption has connected faith communities, child welfare agencies and individuals to help tens of thousands of at-risk children. They aim to create unity among the local church while working to serve kids in crisis.

CarePortal is an online platform that brings the needs of hurting children and families inour community to your attention. Caseworkeers uncover the needs. CarePortal makes local churches aware, giving them a real-time opportunity to respond.

Crossfire Ministries is a Christian, faith-based, non-profit organization seeking to put God’s love into action, dedicated to offering hope and encouragement for a changed life by furnishing the daily necessities to those in need. We show up for the short term and with loose hands allow God to guide the long term.

Their mission is to provide compassionate spiritual and emotional care to the elderly living in care centers through one-on-one visits, on-going Bible study and friendship, ensuring their well-being and dignity.

Springs Food Pantry has been serving the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas for over 26 years. We are the only no boundaries pantry in southern Colorado.

Westside CARES provides many services to the community, including: food pantries / The Lord’s Dinner, financial assistance, medical assistance, special seasonal programs, & referrals.

Lynn Pottenger teaches English as a second language to Turkana church leaders in Kenya and produces materials for them to use in their Bible Studies. She also participates in and teaches courses at the Turkana Bible Training Institute. The Turkana people are now responsible for the literacy program, and Lynn serves as their consultant.

Compassion began its ministry in Ecuador in 1974. Since then, hundreds of thousands of generous people have donated to children in Ecuador through Child Sponsorship. ACC supports a church in Ecuador and has numerous members sponsoring the children there and all around the world through Compassion.

The missionary ACC supports through New International is one of the founding members of The Eastern Bible Institute in Myanmar where he teaches and serves as chairman of Myanmar Vision Ministries. The ministry includes training local pastors and Bible school teachers at a graduate level.

For 40 years, Pioneers missionaries have been using innovative and creative means to bring the gospel to every corner of the globe. Daniel & Katie are serving in Bosnia and impacting the people around them with Katie’s nursing skills, and Daniel is helping with support through youth activities and mentoring those God places around them.

The Wei Family has partnered with Resound and is a supported by Academy Christian Church family who participates in a ministry that is working to assist Asians cross-culturally for the sake of the Gospel. They have currently started an underground church and are continuing to learn the cultural language to come alongside the unreached.
