Safety & Services
Our Safety and Services Team is dedicated to ensuring a secure and welcoming environment, where every individual can gather knowing that attentive and caring members are always ready to assist, support, and enhance their experience.
Safety Team
Northside | Westside
The ACC Safety Team works to provide a safe and secure place for our guests and members during services and events. They patrol assigned areas, answer questions, and respond to needs and emergencies. Our Safety Team volunteers serve 1 or 2 weekends a month for 60-75 minute shifts. They are also encouraged to attend Safety training meetings, and to become certified in CPR/AED.
Parking Team
Northside
Our Parking Assist Team helps direct guests and attenders to parking spots, welcoming them to our campus. Parking Assist works before and after the 9:30 service, but may also assist when there are special events (Trunk or Treat, VBS, Family Fun Night). The time commitment is 45 minutes 1 or 2 times a month (both sides of the 9:30 service).
Coffee Team
Northside
Our Coffee Team sets up the coffee stations on Saturday, and cleans them up on Sunday during the 11:00 service. Volunteers are scheduled for EITHER set up OR clean up, and serve at least 1 weekend per month. A training session is required.
Breakfast/Coffee Team
Westside
Our Coffee Team sets up the coffee stations on Thursdays and cleans them up on Sundays after the 10:30a service. Volunteers are scheduled for EITHER set up OR clean up, and serve at least 1 weekend per month. A training session is required.
Communion Team
Northside | Westside
The Communion Team prepares communion for Sundays and special events. At Northside, teams usually do the initial preparation on Thursday or Friday, then refill trays and clean up during the Sunday service times. Volunteers serve on teams 1 weekend a month. At Westside, preparation can be done Thursdays or early Sunday morning prior to the 10:30a service.
Events Childcare Team
Northside
The Events Childcare Team provides childcare during our monthly Membership and Getting to Know ACC classes in teams of 2 or more. Teens are welcome on this team, but must be paired with an adult, and all team members need current background checks. The maximum time commitment is 2 ½ hours one Sunday a month, but it is usually less.
ACC Events Team
Westside
At Westside, we believe that community flourishes when we come together to support one another, whether it’s lending a hand with childcare during events, helping set up vibrant spaces for gatherings, or joining in cleanup afterward. Our potlucks and holiday celebrations are more than just meals; they are cherished moments where everyone contributes, adding a personal touch to our shared table. By volunteering your time and skills, you are helping to create an environment where every member feels valued and connected, embodying our mission of belonging for all.
