Dave was born in Mason City, IA and grew up in Northwestern Illinois. The son of ministry parents, he has had lifelong involvement with Christian Churches. He and Paula were married in 1979 after meeting at Minnesota Bible College. They have four married children and eleven grandchildren. Two Graduate degrees have been part of Dave’s training—a Master of Ministry from Kentucky Christian University and a Master of Arts in Preaching and New Testament Studies at Johnson University. He enjoys being active through sports, music, travel, missions trips, and riding an electric mountain bike and hiking. Favorite thing to do… anytime when grand kids are in the house. Dave joined the staff of Academy Christian Church in April, 2015.
